Please note that the symposium venue will move to 100th Anniversary Memorial Hall at Kumamoto University on Sep. 8th. A bus will depart from KKR Hotel Kumamoto at 8:20 for Kumamoto University.

Presentation Instructions

Oral Presentations

Presentations are preferred to be given by a pre-prepared computer at the conference venue. Presenters should save their files in a USB flash drive and connect it to the pre-prepared presentation computer. Presentations scheduled in the morning sessions should be uploaded into the computer before 9:00 am each day. Presentations scheduled in the afternoon sessions should be uploaded into the computer during lunch time. We recommend checking with your session chair prior to your session to confirm that the presentation loads properly on the session computer. Session chairs will not be able to load presentations during oral sessions.

A PC, projector, laser pointer, and slide advancer will be available in presentation room.

Oral presenters should plan to allow the following question time within their allotted presentation time:

Poster Presentations

Posters should not exceed 841 mm (width) X 1189 mm (long) (A0, vertical). If larger, they will extend off the display board. You will need to bring a finished, printed version of your poster. We will not be able to print posters at the conference.

Poster sessions will be held on Thursday, 6th and Friday, 7th. Each poster has been assigned a number in the technical program (please check the extended program) and you will need to mount your poster on the appropriately indexed board at the conference. Posters should be attended during the posted session time each day. Posters can be affixed using pins that will be provided. Time is allotted in the schedule below to mount the posters in advance of each poster session. Manuscripts will not be accepted for publication if a poster is not presented AND attended by a primary author during the allotted session.
