環境バイオエレクトリクス分野では、電気エネルギーを気体・液体・固体へ作用させることで得られる強電磁界・放電プラズマ・衝撃波などを、その無害化及びリサイクルへ応用する研究を進めています。具体的な研究テーマとしては、有害排気ガスの浄化及び有益オゾンの生成、廃コンクリートのリサイクル、燃料の改質などが挙げられ、その基礎研究から応用研究、実用化までを段階的にサポートする研究体制を敷いています。
